Help!!! Need Fast Answer
The lights on my cliamate control weren't working. So I had to take the dash apart and check it out.
Good news, all the lights are working now. One hour of work. I took the cliamte control unit apart, checked all the bulbs. They were good. So I used some contact cleaner and a small file to clean up the contacts and it seems to have done the trick.
Here's my question.......
Are the "doors" the blow the air from feet to defrost to in your face VACUUM activated.
I pushed the buttons and noticed SOME CHANGE but could't get it to blow out of the dash. It's late and the kids are sleeping so I couldn't start the car.
If they are vacuum activated, it would make sense that they are not moving air.
On my '88 all the heater controls are vacuum operated except for the door that routes air flow through or around the heater core, which has an electric motor drive.
