Default New 87

I've been reading this forum for a considerable length of time and find the information, discussions, and miscellaneous banterings both informative and entertaining.

And after 15 years 9 months and three days...(not that I’ve been counting) I returned to the wonderful world of vette ownership. I picked up an 87’ Dark Red coupe with graphite interior which is in incredible original shape.

I'm certain to have questions in the coming weeks and months as I discover the difference between incredible and reality but am confident that you all will have the answers.

It’s great to be back.

And the Mrs. is absolutely thrilled........that I wont be whining anymore.

Congrats, and welcome to the asylum . Dark Red 87 Coupe here, too. Got it after 19 years without. Had it 5 so far.

87s are great. Make sure that you find a copy of Motor Trend (?) where it was named one of the top ten cars in the world. There is also a great editorial, I'll have to look it up, by a motor writer about his lust for the 87. Enjoy it and welcome back.

Unfortunately no. Bought this from a local dealer here in the Columbus Ohio area.

This actually has closer to 90,000 miles...although for the most part they really dont show.
