I have a 1986 with C5 Y2K rims. They fit fine....BUT...I also use adapters on my car. These will bolt to the hubs, and then the C5 rims bolt to them.
I think that from 1988 on C5 rims are a direct fit to C4s. There was a wheel offset from 84-87 that causes those years to use spacers.
NOTE: I am not exactly sure on the year the offset changed, but think that it was from 88 - 96.
