Default Lights

No backup lights fellows.....It's on the same fuse as the Shift from 1st to 4th....Fuse is a 15 amp seems to be ok...Any ideas... thanks

Check the switch on the bottom of the shifter.

I hate it when people ask for help and dont post what year,style car they have. DEPENDING on that, the right rear interior compartment, pull the carpet back and find the body wiring harness connector, most likely it is corroded bright green and even some of the wires may have melted, if so, by pass the harness with a roll/crimp connector or buy you a new correct connector from a salvage yard and toss the old body connector away. But of course, do this after you check the back up light socket with a test light.
