I don't see why it would'nt work on yours. 8T5 has an 85 (of course) and I have an 87...both L98's. A couple of the catalogs like Eckler's and Mid America sell the pre-programmed chips.
Lookiing at the Mid America catalog, they don't have a "chip" for the LT4 but they do have a "Power Tuning Module" that just "plugs-in" to the ECM. Here's the link....

I have a TBI Hot Stage 2 chip I just put in that I bought off HOOT85 here on the forum. I see the difference in throttle response, lower water and oil temp,(170 degree thermostat required.) I think its a great deal for the price of these overly priced items, and he backs up his product.
