Okidokie... I figure I would run the performace mods i plan to do to my vette when i get the money and see if you all think it would be ok... I dont want a race car just want to pep it up a little.... My 1995 vette is a bone stock automatic convertible and heres the mods i want to do and the order i am gonna do them...
1) K&N air filter with cut lid
2) Straight pipe instead of mufflers
3) 3:43 gears
4) 2500 stall converter
5) 75-125 nitrous shot (wet system)
Any comments on what kind of gains i should be able to get out of these mods? Does this sound like it would be a good plan?
I'm not a big fan of nitrous, but the rest of your mods look good. With the auto, I think you'll have to go with 3:54 gears. Add some long-tube headers, high-flow cats and a cat-back exhaust. Later, do a heads/cam package. When you add the high-stall converter, add a shift kit also. Just the gears and TC are going to make a hugh SOTP difference. Also, try to raise the limit on your Visa/Mastercard because you will become a Corvette-mod addict.

Thats exactly why i picked the above mods so i wouldnt have to raise my credit limit lol.... thanks for the input i was thinking of headers but they can get pretty pricey... (as far as my budget goes) same thing with the cam and the heads.... I know they are great for perfromance gains but just simply i dont want to spend so much money because ive decided to keep my previous car (Eclipse convertible which is paid for) instead of selling it and using the money for mods.... and cash will be tight since im gonna go ahead and pay the vette off as well... as far as the 3:54 instead of the 3:43 i might could go with that
EDIT: What kind of shift kit do you recommend? And thanks again for the input.
