Almost back together !!!
Well , the tired L-98 is out , ZZ-4 short block with Edelbrock heads is in ! A couple more days and I should be running again . Man I can't wait ! I need a Vette fix BAD !

Bellhousing bolts were a pain in the a** ! Almost ready to fire her up for the first time with the new motor . Got smog notice for test only on Sat. OH no !!! I've got a month or so to get her broke in though . Shouldn't take more than a couple days I think !

I hate to ask seeing that you are from the Peoples Republic Of Kali. But what is a Smog Notice? Is this a random check of cars?

Every other year we have to get a smog inspection , sniffer , but this year , I got the dreaded Test Only notice . These are the Smog Police state sponsered guys that hate hi performane mods . I heard of one guy here in town that actually wrote down the E.O. numbers off all aftermarket parts and looked them up online to verify correctness for the car ! Yikes . The whole top of my engine is aftermarket . All correct though . As long as my rings seat okay I should be alright , just another inconvenience .
