We had a dyno day at a local shop this morning. My bone stock LT1 95 A4 coupe turned 262.3 RWHP and 285.3 RT. I was quite pleased with this for stock. That equates to 327.8 HP at the flywheel and 356.6 lb/ft of torque.
To get more realistic results I would stick with 18% drivetrain loss for autos and 15% for manuals. That would put you at 309.5 FHP and 336.7 lb/tq. Not bad numbers, but certainly within factory spec.

My tuner is pretty experienced and he says 20%. However, 18% would equate to 319.9 and 347.9 by my calculator.

You're right about the numbers. I made a mistake on my part. I'm still going to stick with the 18% because there is no way that a stock LT1 would be putting out 330 FWH from factory. We are talking LT4 territory here.
By the way I dynoed my '94 LT1 6-speed today and with only a Corsa cat-back exhaust it made 281 RWH and 309 lb/ft TQ.
It's crazy how much wieght plays a factor. It's really obvious when you do the math, in regards to wieght/torque. My old GTO has more horses but dam this vette just "feels" so much faster. I am sure they would be close in the 1/4.
Where did you get your vette dynoed? Ive been looking around the Marietta area for a good deal to get my LT4 done.
Call Reese *** at MTI Racing 770-919-7774. Their next dyno day is 29 October, but that may be club members only for Classic Glass. Ask for Reese, Paul or Mason when you call. They can tell you when they can get you in.
