Default Tail light lens removal

This may sound strange but how do you remove the tail light lens on a 93 Vette? Have taken out the torx screws but unable to remove the lens. Seems as if something is still holding them in place. Have tried everything I can think of but don`t want to damage the paint or the car.
Is there something I`m missing.

I did this on my 92. There is a gasket between the lens and the bulb housing. Just takes a little coaxing. I'll bet the 93 is the same.

It is exactly as mentioned.....try using needle nose pliers to "carefully" pry on a corner.

Years of dirt buildup and moisture can "glue" the gasket to the bumper facia. Use a dowel or something that will fit in the screw hole to apply a bit of pressure to release the grip.

You can also remove the license plate and the backup light housing and reach in to apply pressure from the back side.

Where did you find that kind of a tool? Sounds like just the ticket.
