Weak acceleration

Weak acceleration
any reason, after sitting for a few days in the rain, to cause the acceleration to suck so hard? I had it floored after I got on the highway and strightened out, 20-60 took about twice as long as ever.
if not, any other ideas?

check your little drain plug where your gas cap is. That drain hole can get clogged and cause that compartment to fill with water. Rain will then seep into your gas tank. Happend to me, i took a garded hose and flushed her out. Also, your ignition could be screwed and getting water in it. More than likely under your Distributer cap or somthing.

Those pre cats can fall apart at anytime and clog the main cat.
Might want to bang on your exhaust ayatem and listen for any rattles.
