need spark plug help
I have a 92 with LT1, P engine.
I want to change the plugs and bought a set of Bosch 4205.
This has a tapered seat.
When I got home and pulled a plug, it was an AC 41-603 which has the washer on a flat bottom. (also not a platinum)
I felt around the head and it feels like a flat surface, not tapered.
There is no evidence the plugs are experiencing any seating problems. Nor do the washers appear to have been deformed into a taper.
Unless there is strong advice to the contrary, I think I'll put in plugs with washers.
