Ltpws
If your car doesn't have the LTPWS option, is it possible to add the capability? I was wondering if the CPU and wiring is there or not.

Don't have the answer but it desreves a bump
on a side note,
I can't imagine that GM made more than one main wiring harness. I would bet the LTPWS indicator module itself, and obviously tire sensors, and rest of transmitter assy. is not there. Can always open up the dash and see.

My guess is that if you can locate all the parts, and have that kind of money............no problem, but i can't see spending that kind of money on an option that is more problems than what it is worth.
BTW: You can probably get a good aftermarket system for a lot less money

Yeah, I just wondered if I got the sensors and told the CPU they were there if it would work.
I have no idea what all goes onto the system. I just know I could put the wheel sensors without trouble.
I have it on my Titan and C5 and really like it. Would be cool to have it on my C4...this car was to good a deal to pass up on one or two options.

I spent a great deal of time and money trying to keep it working on my '96.
Then I thought, "Hey.. I can use a $10.99 digital pressure gauge once a month". That's when I decided that LTPWS wasn't worth the effort.
