Engine Cleanup Help
The 85 I just bought is a decent car,but the engine is really filthy and to make matters worse,it has a fair amount of paint over spray.
I would like to strip the grease & paint off the parts and repaint.
What cleaning product do you recommend?

Most people here recommend Simple Green as an overall cleaner.I have used Gunk engine cleaner( I like the orange smell) on the stuff that had a lot of grease on them at the local wand wash and it works fine may need a couple of applications on the really heavy stuff.

i used simple green and a whole bunch of elbo grease - tooth brush - Q-tips -
then hit some area's with the rattle can - mine is no where near perfect
but i'm not ashamed to raise the hood at a show - t
