Default CE or GS?

which would you rather own today?Their were 4,412 more Collector editions made than Grand Sports, but that was due to limited production of the GS,not buyers choice.I got to see a GS convertible and CE convertible,(2 of my favorite all time corvettes)both with torch red interior,at the Ecklers show last weekend, and even after 10 years,IMO,they both look as good as any newer sports car today.Would you go for the more "classic"look of the CE,or the more "sporty"look of the GS?Although,I love the GS,especially with a red interior, the silver with a red int.is just so so thats my vote.Lets see some pics of any

I've had a CE for a few years and am ready for something different. Not sure I would feel that way about a GS.

THen again, my feelings are driven by wanting to be faster and perhaps have more room for my new son.

Without question...the GS with RED GUTS is my all time favorite.
My wife's Vette is the real looker, a CE with RED interior.

GS/red guts. Of course I would be happy with any LT4 car, its originally what I wanted prior to buying the 89, just over my budget at the time. I think LT4 cars are awesome-C5 performance in a C4 body

I've just put my 87 up for sale on the Forum so I can buy a skunk. I'll take red guts, black guts, vert or coupe. No fussy!

Can't knock the CE, but I'd take the skunk without hesitation. A no-brainer for me.

Be well,

GS with black interior! I think the red is a much more drastic look...of course, I'm sure that's exactly the same argument people will make for why they like it so much. Personal preference.

But definitely GS over CE, even though I would love to have either.

I may be a minority here - but Corvettes with red interiors remind me of 70's and 80's **** Kings/Queens. Maybe it's just me.

That being said... I love my CE, but give me a GS with black interior any day of the week.

ah,they do have the #'s (thanks CE1 and luvmy92)just 68 CE convertibles, were made with LT4 and Torch Red int.along with 53 GS convertibles, the rarest of each, and probably most valuable. So,if red guts was the least ordered, how come according to this poll, its the most popular today?I have to say, back in 96,I did not like a red int.GS,(or any red for that matter,as I wished my 90 conv.had black int.)I thought it was just to "tacky"but its really grown on me,and its my fav.today
