I have a lead on a 92 vert, and want to know what yall think it may be worth. Also any major problems with a 92. It is an automatic, covertible, 17,000 miles, white top, red interior, and that's all i know right now.
Thanks in advance.
Not an expert but with so few miles you should be in good shape. Mines got 80k on it and the only major prob I've had to deal with is the tranny. 17K is almost new, others will be able to tell its worth but I've seen them in my area for up to 18K. I really like the car so I would say go for it, after having it checked out of course.
about 15k,give or take an opinion or 2.
92,1st year for the lt1 300 hp engine.thats a major plus in the c4 series.
6spd would be better than auto value wise but you have that convertible going for you.that adds more than the 6spd would.
nice mileage.it should have the original tires on it and they will be hard as a rock so try and get the price down at least 500 bucks from what they want so you buy some new skins.
white tops cool too, what color is the body? white?
white with red guts is classic corvette.
nice find, hopefully you can grab it up for closer to 10k but that sure sounds like a nice one.get us some pics.these guys can spot about anything if its wrong on a vette.
How about get what ya want!!! He might not like manuals!!! So while a 6 speed may hold a potentially higher comercial value, if you dont like manuals, its not worth the sweat off your *****!!
I gave 14k for my 92 vert. Triple black, 6 speed, FX3. A one owner car that had spent its whole life in AZ with 56k miles. Car was immaculate and had been very well maintained with all service records.
