I think I have it pretty much down in terms of how to remove the engine. Right now, I have the intake off so here's what I think needs to also be removed. Anything else, please chime in
1) remove exhaust and transmission
2) disconnect exhaust at manifolds and/or entire exhaust
3) drain oil and antifreeze
4) Disconnect all coolant hoses
5) remove a/c pump... Can I disconnect the lines at the pump or do I have to remove the freon. ( I tried disconnecting the lines and I heard freon escaping).
6) power steering reservoir
7) unplug and disconnect any grounds or plugs linked to the engine
8) disconnect all vacum lines, egr, hoses, etc.
9) drink 6 beers
10) call a mechanic and have himcome over
11) have him drink 6 beers
On my '91 it would have made is easier if I would have removed the belt pully off the crank first.....
Two people would have been easier as well
I did do the beer part right though....
