Getting ready to order weatherstrip for my 86 vette, What does CRC mean? It's the "Front A piller weatherstrip and wilcox on e-bay has it for 85.00 dollars.
You got me interested because I need the same piece, it says right in the description that it is made by Corvette Rubber. I understand that this company (CRC) makes quality weatherstrip and you can't go wrong with Willcox, I have bought from them before. I might just get one of those myself.

There is a company here in Grand Rapids that used to be named Corduroy Rubber Company. They have made quality rubber products since the 1950s. They were taken over by a French company a few years ago and are now called Paulstra CRC. I wonder if this is the same outfit?
Willcox claims in the text of the auction that the piece is made by Corvette Rubber, now maybe the company's actual name may be the one you're thinking of corvetteron, I don't know.
Thanks takovr for bringing this to my attention, I went to ebay and wasn't going to bid out of courtesy to you but I saw they had a whole string of these for sale so I bid on one and got it.
The manufacturer is Corvette Rubber Company. (or known by vendors as Missaukee Molded Rubber.) You can Id parts made by them by finding the CRC molded in the weatherstrip ends.
