I did this on my 85. I used dye from Corvette America. Get it direct from them because they supply it to the other catalogs. It's important to prep the plastic and I went to an auto paint supply shop and bought SEM plastic cleaner and SEM plastic prep(I can get you the exact name later tonight).
I bought matching paint from ecklers (or was it midamerica)...
Anyway - it worked really well. You can check my website for before/after pics.
Just take your time with the prep work.
You can use soap and water, for the same effect as the more expensive plastic and vinyl prep products. The basic Idea is to remove any silicon or dirt that are on the pieces...
I'm not sure what color you need, but I had a hard time matching my '86 Medium Grey leather interior. The medium grey I purchased from one of the catalouge companies wasn't even close. I had my interior paint custom blended using the GM paint code to match exactly. If you have medium grey and need the paint code, let me know.

Actually, the prep products are adhesion promoters. There's a different one for vinyl and hard plastic. The one for vinyl will soften the surface when it's sprayed on. I did a color change on mine this summer. I washed every piece with soap and water first, scrubbing with a stiff bristled brush. Then cleaned with Ditzler DX 330 wax/grease/silicon remover, and then the prep spray. I used SEM prep and paint (it's not really dye) products. You might get good results with just a good washing, like the above post suggests, but this worked good for me.
