New Head Unit Install

Well i finally took out my malfunctioning delco bose head unit and replaced it with a JVC double din unit. I kept the bose amps and speakers since they were all functioning properly. Boy it is nice to have a working cd player again. And it sounds aewsome. Took me two days due to the wiring nitemare but was well worth the work. Ill post some pics once i have a chance to take some.

Yes, pics.......... I want to see what that unit looks like in the dash. I am wanting to do the same. I have a Kenwood with Sirius Satellite reciever in my truck. That satellite radio has spoiled me, and I want it in the vette too. But I want the Sat ready head unit, not the add on portable type.

I promise i will have the pics up this weekend for you guys. I have to fix some wiring and clean up the mess under my passenger sill. So I will take pics when I fix that stuff probally on sunday.

You are lucky. I replaced my head unit with an Alpine, and it sounds worse through the Bose speakers. If I fade it heavily to the rear speakers, it's not too bad.
