Quick Question
I'm doing some research on the LT1 engine that was offered in the C4's. I'm trying to figure out what years it was offered in the Corvette. Can anyone help me out?

Only the 96 cars with auto tranny got the LT1. Manual tranny cars got the LT4.
The first "LT-1" (note the dash) was an optional engine in the 1970 thru 1972 Vettes. The first LT-1 available in the 1970 car was a 370HP 350cid motor. In '71 the HP dropped to 330HP and in '72 it fell even more to 255HP.
