Hi guys and maybe a girl. Did some crusen this weekend in the SoCal and passed at least five C-4s and only got 2 waves. I had herd in some ”save the wave” post that you don’t wave at us because you think we think we are better than you. That’s bull, I love the C-4 and I want one. I got a C-5 because I needed a low mileage daily driver. I plan to get a C-4 soon and make a monster out of it so one day I will be back here sucking your brains for info. Just wanted some feedback from you because I feel like crap when you guys, and that one girl, don’t wave back. I have a post in the pacific section for a new club in V.C. Ca. called “Vettetude” and so far no C-4 has show interest. I know I would like to see you so all I can say is “Join The Club” and frickin wave damitt. I think I'm going to go cry now.
I wave at all vettes regardless of the year, and most times don't pay attention to if they wave back simply because I don't need the agravation it seems to cause me if they don't.
One wave out of five Corvettes is about the average...don't feel too bad.

especially down here in SoCal. It's ridiculous. When I first moved here, I was surprised at how many vette owners did not wave. When I lived in KS, if you pulled up next to another vette, you'd have a 5 minute conversation.....not here in stuck-up SoCal.
Maybe they don't know what the wave is or they didn't see ya. You know, many people have no idea what the wave is. There should be something about that in every corvette owners manual.
Come to South Dakota, we wave at any car. I really have never seen the big deal in not waving. I guess I'm just not sensitive enough to care. Sorry to rain on your parade but making a big deal of no wave on this forum is a lost cause, some are for it and others don't care.
If I wave at someone in a new vette (or at least newer) and they don't wave back, usually I just asssume they just bought their first vette and don't know better; or they're just too stupid to cop. on (or they thing my "daddy" bought it for me).
Just keep in mind that he may not have bothered waving at you because he's too caught-up in his own vette. --it happens....and there's nothing wrong with that. If your biggest problem is "vette-waves" than all is good.
I usually get a wave from all year vette owners where I live. From experience the ones I can expect to blow it off are C5s, but even they wave about 80 % of the time. I can be driving my C4 or one of the C3s. The wave actually still lives in Fairfield county.
Though I gotta tell ya some of the newer vettes you can't tell its a vette til your ontop of it. The C1, C2, C3, and C4's you can't miss. The newer vettes look like european production cars. Don't get me wrong I am purchasing a second vert C5 but the C5's and C6's lost the Corvette look alittle. If I miss one look in the rear view I tap my breaks.
