Yep gonna go out tomorrow and Sunday as it is supposed to be 50 deg but it is gonna snow and freeze next week.Dayum shoulda got that reznor I got a lot of little stuff to attend to as well as the intake gaskets. It has been a very exciting first summer of ownership, spent a lot of money, car runs much better for every dime spent and made several long trips with it
Now I get to find out how cold is too cold.I do not plan on keeping mine off the roads all winter.I will take it out when the roads are clear.I got a lot of years of driving Vettes to catch up on I always take it to the car wash after any chance of salt or when it gets dirty before she gets parked. My car is certainly no collectors item but I try to keep it nice.
Gonna get a set of Chrome sawblades soon and it is going to kill me waiting till next spring to put them on but the upside is I now have my Kuhmo ASX on my winter rims and was thinking 712's on the chrome rims.Geeeez i gotta quit spending money on this car
It is indeed the sad time of year for Corvette owners up north but we do get one benefit from it all we can be like little kids in the spring We don't have to just keep feeling the same about it but we bond more with it because we yearn to drive it so much for these upcoming months. :o Sounds like a love affair doesn't it
From: levittown pa. usa Even a bad day with my `Vette, is better than a good day at work

As long as its a nice day, & the roads aren`t screwd up, I`m going to take mine out 12 monts out of the year. The same goes for the Harley. I believe in the motto "You are only here for a little while, so you may as well enjoy yourself a little". If you drive it only a few months a year, & then "croak" , someone else is going to drive a really nice `Vette. My `87 was owned by a doctor who only drove it in the summer time (as evidenced by it having only 34,000mi. when I got it). He died, & she sold it within a month. Look how much fun he missed

WHAT? Did somebody say SNOW? Naaaa, must have been a bad dream.
Well we don't want to wake you up, now, do we?
I hate the snow, I hate the winters, yet I can't seem to get away. A job I like, friends and family, and having a certain comfort level make it so difficult to leave. Grrr.
yep...getting close to putting all my fair weather toys away..my Vette, my 1971 mach One, as well as my 59 T-bird..time to just hibernate for 4 months..GRRRRRRRR!

I have a Tennessee law license (lived there for 8 years) and could easily move back but that would mean leaving friends and family, and our three young grandkids.
So I guess we'll yet again bundle up and suffer through.
