86 Engine replacment
Have an 86 with a bad block and would like to replace with a crate engine. Can someone tell me which one will work?
Thanks

86 is just a regular SBC, anything of that kind works. Not LT1 or LS engines, as those are later generations.
Scoggin-Dickey has plenty to choose from, but bear in mind that NO crate motor will make the advertised power when you put your intake system on it.
and you will need a custom chip made for any cam change

Good deal there - Scoggin-Dickey is well known for crate packages that WORK!

Scoggin-Dickey, looked them up on the web site, there are several locations any one special?
Thanks again for the help;
