Antenna cable
Can anyone tell me how the antenna cable connects to the radio. I pulled the radio out but do not see an antenna cable. I want to put in an fm direct adapter for the mp3 and the XM radio.

If you just pulled the head unit out of the dash, you did not get the radio. The actual receiver is in the compartment behind the drivers seat on your 1996. The antenna is connected to that.

Yes, My brain was thinking passenger seat but my fingers typed drivers seat. 
Anyway, glad you found it. By the way, that's the ABS system in the compartment behind the drivers seat.
