Obvious Question - Obvious Answer

I was outside washing my '92 LT-1 today.. Polo Green convertible. A termite guy pulls up to my neighbours house and says: "Nice car. Can I ask a question?"

I say - Of course

"My friends dad has an '89 convertible, automatic, always garaged, driven carefully, 130k miles. Owned by him for 12 years since 35k miles. He wants to sell to me for $5k. What do you think?".

I'm like - DUDE, buy it!!! You know the history, and the price is right, convertible is great in GA, and what else could you buy for $5k that would do 140mph?

What a great day.

Most of the termites I've seen are rather small. Won't he have trouble working the pedals?

He told me that he was going to consider it. I gave him details of a local Corvette group that I belong to and told him to look us up. Seemed like a nice guy - I hope he buys it.
