So I wait and wait and watch and wait and buy a 1992 LT1 ZF6 in the middle of winter to get the good deal. Took a long time because 6 speeds are not readily available ( most are autos around here). I paid 12000.00 or about 10 and a bit U.S. and dragged it back on a flatbed last week 1000K round trip.
The car is loaded except for the suspension upgrade and needs new tires but its pretty cherry and will be used for teaching performance club driving and some track lapping and solo events. Can't post a picture, won't allow me to.
Problem is its in my friends garage and I can't drive it. AAARRRGGGGGGG....damn Canadian winters LOL. Oh well, I can spend time here reading this great forum, learning, and dreaming of spring.
Its got 125 on it but the motor is GM crate ( I have the reciept) with only 30000 miles on it.
Oh, its seen its day, but I'm pretty good with cars and the leather is still in good condition even. I also found the original owners manual in it with an original corvette pad of paper LOL.
The only puzzling thing so far for me is the front shocks are black and I think they are the Bilstein GMs. The rear shocks however are yellow and I didn't get underneath far enough the other day to see if they are konis or what. I'll have to figure that one out. Other than that its all original except the intake box has been opened. It runs beatifully and the A/C is cold.
One other thing, the first few pages of the manual are missing so I'm not sure what the buttons imbedded in the drivers seat are for yet. The car has both front seats power and both tops, paint and smoke.

Sounds like a great buy. The rear shocks are not konis, they are Bilsteins. Bilsteins are yellow and blue, the front shocks sound like a off brand or AC Delcos. To my understanding Konis are red and black, someone help me out here. Hope this helps you out a little.
My 93 has the sport seats. On the right side of the drivers seat are 3 buttons and one switch. The switch turns on the pump for the LUMBAR supports and the 3 buttons let the air out of 3 bladders.
Lumbar supports. Thats it. Actually koni does make yellow shocks, dubbed "koni yellows" but I'm going with you they are probably Bilsteins. Didn't know about the yellow and blue bit. Thanks once again.

Sounds like you got a nice car. I look forward to hearing more about, especially when you're able to enjoy it! Welcome to the forum and the world of Vettes!
I teach up here for the Solo1 series, the Motorsport club of Ottawa, and have taught for the competition Corvette club of Aurora in the past. I have extensive experience at Mosport, Shannonville and St.Jovite. They are also building a new track about one hour from my house called Calabogie Motorsports park. We're filthy up here with race tracks. Its great.
I've been running karts with my son for the past 5 years and now he's retired. Time for me to get back in hence the blue beauty on the left.
I read an article on corvettes recently that said the Aqua was the most "unloved" colour of a corvette. Not hated, but just not a preference. I'm not so sure about that now. It kinda grows on one, and I think enhancing it with say a black skunk stripe and black and chrome wheels to go with the black leather and black smoke top may be good.
I'd be interested to see some guys with aqua vettes that have costomized them a bit post some photos.
I've heard a few people dont care for the bright aqua color. Personally I dig it! A good friend of mine just picked up a 92 bright aqua met/A4. Very nice car!
Rumour has it we're not done yet either. Some are calling for ours to hit 90 cents against soon. Not good for Americans coming up but good for us to visit y'all.
Bit of trivia: did you know, when I was I guess around 5 or 10 years old the Canadian dollar was worth 1.04 U.S. Oh well. Still love America. I'll be in Florida next month racing. Rock and roll.
