Now that I finally got my first c4 vette, I want to get a subscribtion to one of the many corvette magazines that are out there. The only magazine I have read is the Corvette Magazine. What is everyone else reading?

Vette seems to be moving in the direction of custom/modded Corvettes. Their mag is better than it used to be. Corvette Fever is good too and has the "wear and tear" section for C4s. I like Corvette Enthusiast the best bacause of the "guru" writers and that includes our own 89X2, Chris Chesnoe.
I subscribe to the "Corvette Forum"..best magazine yet.
But if you want a real "Magazine" than i would recommend Corvette Enthusiast, it seems to me that it's a little bit better than the others.
Favorite is Corvette Fever, followed by Vette. Have subscribed to both for years, Fever seems to have more "how to" articles, Vette lately has been running a few more than they used to. Both well worth the money.
It depends where your interests are. If you are into mods then Corvette Fever or Vette might be more interesting to you. If you appreciate Corvette history and prefer originality then it's Corvette Magazine or Corvette Enthusiast.
Why not just go to a Borders or Barnes & Noble and check them all out? Then subscribe to the one(s) you like.
Or, if you go on their web sites you can at least get a sense of the content. Some will send you a free sample.
Anyway, welcome to the obsession.
This is good advice.
If it's opinions you seek, here's mine:
Corvette Enthusiast is excellent. Written by adults for adults.
Corvette Magazine runs a close second to Corvette Enthusiast. A good publication.
I've decided to allow my subs to Corvette Fever and Vette to expire. I've grown weary of them. They are done by the same publisher, and they're usually covering the same, tired material again and again. Their covers tend to shout the same sort of stuff at me all the time, and the quality of the writing has gone downhill pretty badly, in my view. There's the occasional good article in each of them, but I think the signal to noise ratio is very poor anymore.
I did the same thing, as soon as I bought the vette, had to subscribe to a mag.......corvette fever. My only gripe is I took a 12 month subscription in Sept, they sent me Aug, Sept, and Oct. then last month Nov and Dec. so in 2 1/2 months I'm half way through my subscription.
Thanks for the votes of confidence guys. And yes, Midlifvet, email me (abolig@amosautomotive.com)your address and I'll put a copy of the magazine in the mail to you so you can check it out. Hope you like it.
Corvette Enthusiast and Corvette Magazine get my votes.
As mentioned we have a few of the writers and Editors as members here on the forum.(plus one is almost a neighbor and the two mentioned in this thread are good friends of mine).
Even though my car has appeared in "Vette" I still wouldn't subscribe to that, even to line the bird cage with.
Thank you all for your imput. It looks like the one read the most is corvette enthusiast.
Thank you Andy, I sent you an e-mail with my address, I look forward to reading the copy you sent me.
I most admit though that I have the fever and I am reading every thing I can about Corvettes.
This forum is great!! There's so much information here that it's
mindbogling. Can't hardly wait to have a problem so I can ask how to fix it. Ha! Ha! Ha!
