I was wondering the same thing the other day; tried several times to bring the site up and nothing happened.

I know it wasn't a super active site, but it would have been nice to still have it.....or at least have some notice that it was shutting down.

Anything developes, let us know.

Yea activity on the registry was very limited. I believe they shut it down because of lack of interest. Perhaps if Ruby owners band together and start a paypal fund or something similar then someone would volunteer to start it up again. There is a ruby sitting in someones driveway about 3 miles from my house that is sitting uncovered, and hasn't moved in the 2+ years I've lived here. It's heart breaking to ride by and see the old girl rotting away.... I know the ruby color combo isn't a big hit with most C4 owners, but it is my favorite!

I mean really, isn't this thing beautiful???

From everything I heard, that goes against the very grain of what it was about - The site did have an income of sorts through sales of decals, etc.

I still belive it was a lack of enthusiasum on the cars - A real shame...

I tried to contact to the guy running the 40th reg. - no answer still

I just looked through my emails to try to find some contact info without any luck.
I remember the site had been taken over by someone and improved, then the owner and he had issues and the site reverted to the old set up. The "old" set up is dated, which is probably why myself and other lost interest.

They did have some income, probably not enough to pay the bills.

Would like to see it revitalized, if anyone knows anything lets hear it

I've emailed the moderator a couple of times with no answer. Bummer.
But then again, I spend my time here.

I emailed the guy who runs the thing and he said there were server problems. The thing has been in and out since Chris left and set up collectionvettes. There is a ruby section that needs more input over there. I also have a need, I need a picture of the pen and flashlight that came with our manual. Any body know where I can find these?

I wonder if they would be willing to let C4 Guru take over the registry?
