Default New owner!

Hello all...

Just picked up my 1994 C4. 15 years in the waiting. I found it on Ebay!! The previous owner was an avid corvette fan. He had always parked in the garage, covered no less. 33k miles on it. Mint interior, and everything works..

One quick question he raised, he said he parked in on quilted pads to keep the tires from flat spotting. Is this something I need to worry about?

Welcome aboard    You will be able to make some really good friends here and get some really good information when ever you may need it. BTW if you drive your car fairly often you don't have to worry about flat spots  Some people here have to store their cars in the winter, seems these aren't really good snow cars   Remember to save the wave :seeya :seeya :seeya :seeya :seeya

Hello. :seeya I just got a 94 vert with 24k on it and man does it have flat spots on the tires. From 57-60 mph the thing shakes like a *****. :( It seems to get better when the tires warm up. I hope this isn't fatal for the tires.

Welcome aboard and congratulations. Like some of the other comments-flat spotting is not a problem unless the car sits for an extended period of time. If it does even the quilting isn't gonna take care of the problem. Just drive it periodically even in the winter on a nice day. Have fun.
