First, I'm very enthusiastic about my Ruby and love the color combo. I'm sorry to find the Ruby registry site is no more. I and my cohort in couple-dom both claim the Ruby as our birthstone, having the same birthday in July. We'd love to be thrown a Ruby gathering as a birthday party.
I can't remember who posted about the Ruby haven't seen moved in someone's driveway, but have you asked if the owner would consider selling it?
Now to the question I really want to ask. I met someone today who's got an original leather bound 40th book as well as pen, flashlight, and video he'll sell, and I don't have any of that. What do they normally sell for? He wants $100. Is that fair?

Rainman15 was the Forum member who said he saw one sitting in a driveway for years. Send him a PM.
