Rockchips are a constant battle for me. I've done alot of research on repairing your own have gotten pretty descent at the repairing the chip using the "10 tiny layers of touchup paint with a toothpick" method. The problem is that the touchup paint color is just a tiny but off (too dark). I've been buying the AutoZone crap.
Does anyone have any leads on closer matching touchup paint for Torch Red?
Wonder if Dealers carry touch up? I've used the autozone stuff on my other cars and it never does quite match. I even went to a Car Paint dealer, they made me two cans of spray paint based on OEM color data
but that didn't even match right because of the clear coat.
Dealers are the only place I've ever gotten touch up paint. I used to always get a bottle just to have on hand until I noticed that I didn't use it on the daily drivers - too much to keep up with because of the gravelly winters here.
