wheel adapter question

Default wheel adapter question

i bought some nice wheels for the vette, and got the wheel adapters that mid-america hasto compensate for the different offset. the adapters came with washers, do i need to use the washers when i install the adapters, and where do put them, ie. in the front of the adapters????

Did you get adapters or spacers? Adapters usually bolt to your hub using your existing wheels studs and supplied lug nuts. They have their own studs that you mount the wheels onto. Maybe these washers are to be used with the lug nuts to attach the adapters to your hubs. Spacers just fit between the hub and the back of the wheel so no washers would be needed.

I'm guessing the adapters don't have tapered holes. The washers go behind the lugnuts to the factory studs. You have to use a different type of lugnut with these, I assume they're included. Reuse your stock lugnuts on the wheel.
