Default Test pic...first Vette

This was my first vette. I sold it in 2001 and bought a '99 Vette. Now I'm back to a '94. But you'll always remember your first vette.

Nice looking C4 !
How did you manage to go back to a C4 after a C5 ?

Don't take that wrong... I am a C4 guy all the way... and not a big fan of C5s...

just curious... ?

I second that. How come you didn't stick with an LS-1 powered car?

Maybe because he didn't like the feel of driving a sofa down the highway. C5's are nice cars but they don't have the sports car feel that a C4 has.

We too had a C5 and it had all the creature comforts of our Cad, was much easier to get in and out of than the C4, BUT it didn't have a "VETTE" feel...the Vette feel that we've enjoyed in our other Vettes for the past 30+ years. IMHO, it's a personal preference thing. Please click on our home page link for the rest of the story.

This is why
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...45&forum_id=34

In a nut shell, I wasn't crazy about the style of the C5, I'm still not that crazy about it. The C4 has more character. And since it is a toy car, its much better to look at parked in the garage than the C5.

I'm glad I went back. My '94 Vert is much more solid than the '96 coupe was. And the both and about the same mileage.

Yea, the color chose me. I'm a big Prince fan (hence screen name) and that purple is just incredible in day light.
