I have been offers these headers by a local guy, that dosent know anyting about these headers, other than they came of a modified 87´vette.
Can someone tell me what brand they are?
The guy said hokker, but I am not sure...
Would these headers be a nice with my freeflow KBD mufflers, and only main cat. Actualy a have both a cat that are gutterd and a standard to those from.
Almost stock car? It'll sound meaner, it might give you a little bit more torque in the mid RPM range. Otherwise not much. Now if you plan on upgrading the intake / heads / cam at any point you'll see much better gains.

Where did that come from? The man just wants to know what kind of headers they are. They are extremely well constructed and of very high quality. Since it sounds like he'll be getting them cheap or maybe even for the taking, I don't think original price is a concern to him. He's getting a great header which should have no hit or miss fitment issues such as say, with Hookers.

To be fair, those TPIs ones aren't equal length headers. The LPEs look more so. I haven't seen any headers to date that had everything I was looking for.
I wonder if having unequal lengths could be of benefit at some rpms.. based on the uneven firing order of each bank... obviously this wasn't LPEs intent though.

Yes from seeing a set up close, which I found for a friend's racer, they are probably the closest to equal length as anything I've seen for a C4. I've also seen a set of Doug Thorleys, also no longer produced. Although not quite as equal length as the LPEs, they have an interesting configuration, nonetheless. They probably have the longest primary tubes I've seen for a C4 header. Like the LPEs, they're constructed of heavy gauge steel. Both of these headers weigh more than 50% more than an EM header, for example.

Thnaks guys!
I´ll be honest I dont really know that much about Headers. Its just when used Corvette parts are up for sale in this part og the world, you better grap while they are there..
So when can say they are 100% LPE´s ?
Where can I find some info on these headers, as I understand they are top end headers?

I think you'll find they'll work well throughout the range. I think it was Ski Down It who used to have them on his drag car. Maybe you could contact him for more info about them. Also you might email Lingenfelter Performance Engineering and hopefully they'd be willing to share some insight on them, even though they don't produce them anymore. Definitely don't let them get away, especially if the price is right!
