Well i just bought a used system today. Headers, front Y, and Cat.
it would be nice to know what type cat this is. High flow, standard etc.., to get an idea how much it will muffel the sound, AND how much it will restrict..
I did last year with the stock cam, and that was a dyno test. Ran it lean and tested it first thing in the morning after leaving the car at the shop at night so that the motor was cold enough not to produce much N0x.
Hoover dam is a big dam in the river, holds up the flow, tons of backpressure, basically its the worst part of the whole exhaust system is what he means..........it's a Wold Class Turd Cat, follow?
The Hoover Dam is to water as that cat is to exhaust gas.
I like that analogy. Could it be helpful for most car-nut 2007 high school grads on the SAT/ACT? The test I took in 2000 was lame and lacked that precise automotive terminology!

more accurately, the worst part of the L98 exhaust system.
That's why I still recommend the dual cats, x-pipe and cat back system. It will provide great flow, excellent scavaging and enough backpressure for the engine to perform right... and you will pick up 30hp doing it over the stock one you currently have.

How much more fun could the ACT/SAT test be if the Corvette Forum wrote the questions?
bogus a dual cat system will not pass a visual inspection. I know its ridiculous but it is illegal to change any system design from the factory, even from 1 to 2 cats, even if it is actually cleaner, it still is illegal and will not pass.

Ive just got a corsa cat back, now I want to get the rest of the system (for a L98).
Is there a place I can order the rest of the system you recommend Bogus? (x-pipe and dual cats).....
