hi: I am a new member, I am the proud owner of a 1989 triple black vert. 32 k. I love this forum and all the great advice! Just wanted to know what you thought of my plates. I tried getting 1989 c4 , c4 89 and all other combinations ( all taken). I ended up with ( SEE FOUR ) any thoughts. Keep up the great work!
not bad, but I don't like real easy vanity plates..........too easy to remember if someone wants to report me for street racing bet you didn't think about that.
Thats why I go more random, my 88 GTA was "3.48x4.00" lets see if anyone gets that.
After the Vette is done, including Forced Induction(searching and not finding a TT seup so I may have to go ATI) will be great
"2JZ KLR"

im not sure but i was looking into that a little bit ago and i think you have to have numbers after your letters. so no mixing the two which put a strain in what i wanted. But that could just be here or maybe i am wrong. I never thought about street racing and them seeing my plates. I might need to think about what to do now. thanks -TOM
Use the search function, I have seen this topic at least twice in the last few months.
Usually it gets carried away and I say 'NOFATCHX', someone else says 'SHYTEATR' and the thread goes down the tube.

Although the idiots at DMV in Florida have redesigned the personal plates this year and have screwed up the spacing, numbers and letters can be mixed. Limited to just five letters in a row without the stupid oranges in the center in sequense. The only way to get a personalized plate with letters right next to another is to buy one of the Florida approved designs. I was at DMV Friday setting up plates and renewing when faced with this new dilemma. I had to choose a Marine Corps emblem on the left to get LIKIT for my C3. The 93 C4 has a change from numbers and letters to Ruby 93 and "y' is in the oranges(suks). The rest are good here for five years without change. 05 C6 -400HP-C6,04 C5-BLUMAJIK,03 C5-JUS-LEF. DMV suks.
That is especially for long trips, 1 G cornering and WOT runs. I'd like to use that in FL but I'm afraid it has already been taken. I'd also like to have a vanity plate called CMY ***. Will be for a future Vette hopefully.
RICE ETR was already taken, But I still had to put a written explanation down on the application form of what it meant. They DMV excepted it, so I guess they saw no harm in offending anyone.
Don't think SH*TIN RICE would make it through their scrutiny.
