I have worked in the electronics industry for close to 30 years, all rubber parts have a shelf life. Depending on the material o-rings have a shelf life of 5 to 20 years. We are talking about cars that are in the 20 year old range, rubber seals will fail if kept on the shelf that long. I think everybody will agree that around 100,000 miles a lot of moving parts are going to start wearing out regardless of age.

Had The 95 2 Years, Paid 25 K, I Would Not Sell It For Less Than 32k And That Will Be Rising
Also Why Doesn't Anyone Give 95 Pace Car Its Do, 527 Made

Just don't count on it going up anytime soon.

But it is a special car.

THANKS FOR AT LEAST THINKING PACE CARS ARE SPECIAL CARS

I WAS JUST COMMENTING ON THE GUYS THAT SAY 50K GREAT BUY AND 5K I WOULD BE WORRIED ITS A GARAGE QUEEN
THE LT1 GREAT ENGINE, BUT THEY ALL HAVE BAD WATER PUMPS AND THE GASKETS GO IN 10 YEARS REGUARDLESS OF HOW YOU KEEP YOUR CAR
AND THE ORIGINAL QUESTION ON MILES, IT IS UP THE THE OWNER IF HE WANTS TOP DOLLAR 500 TO 1000 MILES A YEAR
BY THE WAY THE 78 PACE CAR ORIGINAL EVERYTHING HOSES,TIRES, ECT
NO LEAKS OR DRY ROT, SO RUBBER CAN LAST LETS SAY ATLEAST 30 YEARS
THANKS

Yeah but its a shame with the 78, lots of people have pristine ones and they really are not going for great prices. I would have thought they would do alot better. The reason some pace cars don't do real well I think is because buyers think of them as sticker cars, similar to the 86 Vette. They were all pace cars with the yellow ones being the most valuable.

I DO THINK YOU ARE RIGHT ABOUT ALOT OF PRISTINE ONES OUT THERE
HOWEVER I THINK IN THYE LAST 5 YEARS MANY HAVE BECOME DRIVERS BY THE 2ND ONWNER
IF YOU LOOK A L82 PACE CAR $ IS GOING UP AND IT IS WORTH WAY MORE THAN ANY 75-82 OUT THERE
GIVE IT A COUPLE YEARS IF YOU BUY ONE FOR LESS THAN 30K PRISTINE COND L82 YOU WILL DO GOOD
I AM 33, TO ME THE LATE MODEL C4 IS THE CORVETTE
LOOKS, RIDES, IT IS A DREAM
AS SOON AS THE PEOPLE MY AGE 30-40 GET EQUITY IN THEIR HOUSES, AN CAN AFFORD TO SPLURGE ALITTLE, KIDS GONE
C4 WILL BE JUST LIKE C3, PRICE WILL INCREASE
LOW MILAGE SPECIAL CARS--ZR1,PACE, ETC
THE ENGINE OPTIONS ARE MINIMAL IN C4, SO THE BIG MONEY WILL COME WITH SPECIALTY CARS
THE 1ST CAR I WANTED WAS A FIERO GT
ALMOST BOUGHT ONE UNTILL I HAD THAT IMAGE OF A C4 POPPED IN MY HEAD ONE DAY
WAITING ON C4 GENERATION, BUY NOW AND KEEP NICE(ORIGIONAL)
BEST CORVETTE EVER MADE PERIOD

On a '96 coupe
including overall condition being equal) between 85,000 miles and 15,000 miles is approx $1,400. that is 2 cents a mile...
Sounds low to me....
But It is very hard to imagine that a 15,000 mile Garage Queen would be in the same condition as a daily driver...

However In A Regular 96 Coupe You Are Talking About A Low Value Car
I Was Talking About The Collector Cars
Zr1, Pace, Maybe The Collectors Edition And 40th
A Regular Vette Is Not Different Than A 69 350, Not Worth Much Compared To A 427
