Default Plug wires

I put in new plugs and wires Saturday, a task I don't care much to take on again anytime soon. Anyway, there is one wire in the kit that has a 45 degree angle rather than the 90 degree angle all the others have. On the old set I replaced, this wire was on cylinder 7 (left rear, I think that's 7), so I put the new one there too. However, I don't see any reason that it didn't have a 90 degree bend like the rest. Can anyone explain? Thanks.

The odd angle for the #6 plug wire is a better fit around the oil filler tube.

Is that where it was originally, when the car was built? Anyone know?

The 45 degs plug wire goes on the number 6 cylinder on a TPI motor.
