Comming Over
I am comming over to NY today for a week or so, in my previous 6 visits I have yet to see a vette on the streets of Manhaton, so I will look for my 1st sigthing.
Does any one know if there are any drag strips that I could get to from there, or any good perfrmance shops I should see ?

I don't know if it's still true but I remember hearing back in the 60's that a vette had about 5 minutes parked in NYC before it was stolen!! Maybe that's why you've never seen one,they're all in chop-shops in Jersey!!??http://www.corvetteforum.cc/zeroimg/smilies/biggrin.gif

Too bad I'm stuck here in Tampa. It would be great to meet up again. Is your trip business or pleasure? I may be taking a job back in Cambridgeshire. I should know in the next couple of weeks. If it goes down, I be back in the UK by October.
