which rims?
I have triple black 89 vert, I can't decide on which rims to purchace. zr1 chrome or the black. Please any input would be very helpfull! If you have any pictures please post. I am getting them from tomzwheels if I can decide. help!

I say go with the black. Mine's red with black zr1's and I tinted the windows so it looks kind of stealthy. It just matters what you're wanting to look like. chrome= stand out, black= stealth. The gunmetal grey would probably look the best though, I think,if you haven't looked at those yet you might want to.

I agree with drock92, you should think about adding black chrome or charcoal wheels to your selection. Here's a couple of pictures of fellow forum member Impala Balko's Vette. I'm not sure from the pictures if the wheels are charcoal or black chrome but either way it looks sweet

Those pictures look like the gunmetal grey. You also might want to check how they are coated. There are cheaper wheels that look the same that are painted, but the set I got are powdercoated. Big difference I would think, but for not that much more $$.

I think I have seen that car around once or twice... I vote for the OE Wheels Gunmetal grey ZR-1's. They are flashy but not too flashy. They compliment a black car real nice in my oppinion.

everyone buys chrome aftermarket rims... I like to be a little different.
if I ever have the money, I would definately get black powder coated ZR1s on my car (would match the top third and body kit real well, with the 2 tone gray in the middle).

How about two of each??
Put the two chrome on one side and the two black on the other. It'd be like having two Corvettes, depending on which side you approached from in the morning.
