Okay, I bought my 1st Vette last July. Joined the Forum in December. Got pictures posted in January. Will get to my 2002 taxes soon.
Love the forum, here's my very stock 86. Bought it with 34k orig miles. Had the compressor and serpentine belt replaced, worked with a friend to get the aftermarket alarm out. Replaced the 100k antifreeze with traditional antifreeze, and replaced the oil with Mobil 1. Not a mechanic, but will tackle certain projects, more often a time problem than a willingness to try. to you all!
Nice Ride, The L98 is great to start off with. Soon you'll learn to tinker/tweak things to get some extra juice out. Great torque and way fun to drive.
That exuast doesnt look stock from the look of the tips, know what it is? Get that right tip aligned and you'll be stlyin
Shawn_65 - It has those fake exhaust tips on it. I haven't decided if they'll stay or go yet, no plans for exhaust system in the near future. And that RH pipe is a little tweaked.
86 Pacer - Cell phone mount from the 80's! I haven't taken it out yet. Kind of retro-dopey.
Yes, nice ride, and the exhaust tips look really nice. I wouldn't change them unless your up-grading to a performance exhaust system. By the way, nice job with the pictures. shows off the car really well. Best of luck with her.
That is one really nice 86. I have an 86 myself with 95,000 on it. I seen the steering wheel in the picture. You can really dress it up by using so liquid leather dye from the shoe store. It sure helped mine.

Yakko, greeat looking ride. As to the retro phone thingy, just add an 8 track somewhere and it'll all go together! As to the tips, mmmm, that's a personal pref. call. To me, they look too small. I'd yank 'em. But it's your beautiful ride, so who am I to say? Enjoy it.
How do you insert pictures? When I select insert image, it just posts the link to the picture.
Go to the help forum, there's a great string on it. I had to kludge around a little 'cause I'm on a Mac, but it seems to be pretty strightforward if you're on a PC.
