Default Anyone using a Windjammer?

I used one on my C3, it helped alot. Has anyone been using one on their C4? I've got a '95 cpe, wondering if I should order one, or if a hatch vent would be enough. I live in the sticks, so almost all of my driving is highway miles. Appreciate any opinions.

Default Anyone else?

Thanks, davidea70. I guess I'm trying to find out if a hatchvent is enough to reduce wind noise at highway speeds to allow regular conversation. The windjammer made the difference between painful and pleasant on my C3.

I had a windjammer, but tightened it up too much the second time I used it and broke the damn thing.
I have a hatchvent now and I really do like it- much less wind buffeting, I can't really say you can expect to converse in nomal tones with the top off and the windows down at highway speeds tho...

Ok, I give up. I know what a windjammer is for 2 wheeler, but what is it for a vette?

Works great on my car - but I did not use screws, I used rivots.
You Sir are incorrect, but thanks for playing.

A "Windjammer" attaches to the top of the windshield where the targa top attaches. Almost like a bug deflector you see on pick-up trucks.

I wish they'd make something like that for the 86 convertible. I'm a fairly tall guy, so the wind is usually hitting my head pretty good. No putting the top down if I've actually gotta have my hair in decent shape when I arrive

Plus that whole 'having a conversation' would be good too. I got the vinyl piece that goes across the back of the seats, and that helps. Could be better though.

Thanks for the answer. Can you alos tell me how yours attaches, how much you like it, who sells it, and if available for the 95 Targa top? I know that's a lot of questions, but I like what I see. Thanks, Andy

Default Yes or no?

From Mid America:
If you can't have a normal conversation without yelling or have to crank the radio to hear it in your 1984-96 Corvette...Windjammer to the rescue! Simply fasten this unit to the header of your coupe or convertible and start cruising comfortably. The Windjammer actually deflects air over the top of your Corvette to eliminate noisy, bothersome air turbulence when your top is down or the hardtop is off. Made of tinted acrylic, this piece fastens directly to your existing top fasteners. Specify 1984-E86 coupe only, Late 1986-88 coupe only, and1989-96 coupe or convertible. (Note: Early 1986 design measures 4 9/16" from the sunvisor pin to the roof panel mounting bolt. Late 1986 measures 2 3/4".)

Under closer scrutiny, 84-88 coupes only, coupes or verts thereafter.
