The ac/heater controller needs to be removed and solder joints inspected and reflowed if defective. There are several roughly 1/4 inch holes in the circuit board that have a miniscus of solder across them and the solder cracks with age causing , "musical chairs" on the display. Also, use some electrical contact cleaner on the board fingers before you plug it back in for a test.
The radio has similar issues because there are a number of circuit boards in the radio that plug into other boards and they should be unplugged and cleaned with electrical contact cleaner.
Same goes for the cluster. Make sure that you do not use an eraser on any electrical connectors as they are copper plated with gold or silver and if you abrade down to the copper, you are going to have 6 lifetimes of connection problems.
