When the vehicle goes over a bump the whole car does a shimmy. You can see the front go side to side. All steering and suspension components have been looked at and seem to be okay.
Some days the car shimmies and some days it does not. It seems as though it does not do it colder tempuratures. When the day heats up, the problem seems to arise.
Any feedback is much needed right now. The car does not have selective ride control.
Check to make sure that the clips holding the brake pads to the calipers are still in place. That may take care of something. Are the wheels the proper size? Axle?
Years and years ago, I had a truck that when you would hit a bump (sometimes) it would shimmy and you would have to slow down to get it to quit. Had it checked and no one could find any thing wrong. I took it to a different shop and said the only thing they could find was a slightly worn lower ball joint. Replaced that and it took care of the problem. Good luck
