C-4 Magazines?
I'm looking for a good well rounded C-4 magazine, is there one out there? I picked up corvette magazine, it seems to be more about C-5s,6s, maybe it's just this issue. What do you read on C-4s?

Corvette Magazine and Corvette Enthusiast are the only one's worth reading.

...I prefer this one
http://www.corvetteenthusiast.com/
Always a C4 article in there
I get a couple of the other ones mentioned listed here and frankly, if it wasn't cheaper to just subscribe (vs. magazine rack prices) I would probably let 'em lapse.

Being a longtime owner and a longtime subscriber to various magazines related to Vettes. I can tell you there were not many "real ad's" back in the 80's for parts.
Aside from a few wheels, fiberglass "tubs" to conceal your spare tire area, wings and spoilers, and some gaudy leather jackets, there was not much geared towards C4's then either
Most ads seemed to tilt towards C3 stainless rebuld brake parts, etc.
I know what you are saying though - but that's my take on this

If you like Vettes in general either of these make a great read. Well written and quality graphics.
I like Corvette Magazine a bit better. The April edition just came out and has in-depth articles on the Corvette SS (late 50's factory LeMans hopeful) and the '05 ALMS season for the factory C6R's. Nothing to do with C4's but very interesting.
I don't see any way a magazine can compete with this Forum for C4-specific info and so I didn't even think about that when I decided on my subscription.

Everyone is right, nothing will ever beat this forum for info,...period.
I'm simply looking for more C-4 info to read in the middle of the night when i should be sleeping, i've had blinders on for the last twenty years and have a lot of catching up to do.
No i don't belive everything written, most of it's just the trick of the week b.s. to sell the advertisers parts, but if you consume enough info, you will find some truth.
Yes the story on the s.s. is pretty cool, i wish there was better pics. on the fuel injection,(not the stock unit) so i could see their idea of cross ram and the lenth of the velocity tubes, oh well. Darn magazines should be as thick as a book so they would last a while. Thanks guys ...

Ive become so frustrated with wasting $$ on theses so called Vette magazines. Nothing exclusively for the C4.... mostly about C2's & C3'sand the the C6's....oh yeah......don't forget that 75% of the magazines are advertisements. I stay away from them. The only magazine I spend $$ on is Corvette & Chevy Trader.
In the past I subscribed to Corvette Quarterly(mostly road trip stories)
Vette(was good in the 90's)
Corvette Review(I think they went broke)
Corvettefever(still get it until NOV 2006)
Corvette Magazine(was good 2 years ago now all adds)
Corvette Enthusiast(still get it and anticipate it every month)
The best magazine is GM HIGH TECH PERFORMANCE, its all about making your car faster. They even run a few corvette articles once in a while. They always give you 1/4 mile times and 0-60 times in each article to show performance gains.
Now if they would make a magazine called FAST VETTES, full of tech articles that would be great! And roll the adds with the articles to sell there products so you can see how they are installed.
