Got the car on some ramps, got under it, got the 2 clamps loose, used a razor to cut the hose in half, peeled it off. Used a new peice of hose, used a wire style hose bend maker, and 2 new clamps.
chop chop done, 2 gallons of prestone, and no leaks!
Whats a wire-style hose bend maker? Does it slip over the hose and bend into place or...?
Basically, it is a stiff spring, with a heavier steel strip on its back, You slip it on the hose, and bent the heavy steel strip, and the spring makes the bend, and hold it for you.
