Just wondering if it would be worth getting a g-tech pro? I see them on e-bay for about $100. How accurate are they? I have a couple other cars besides my vette that I would use it on. Last weekend a guy was out trying to sell a g-tech type of device. He said his is a lot better than the g-tech, but it cost $530
I like mine. The track is about a five hour round trip for me and some nights I onlly get 2 passes because its so crowded.:( I actuallyn use mine mostly for HP readings and 0-60 to test stuff out. Its pretty accurate but you need to know exactly what your car weighs and mount it perfectly straight. In my Thinderbird, it showed 205 hp and 14.3 for ET's. On the dyno, the car made 205 hp and at the track, it ran 14.3 I even used it at the track and the G-Tech differed from my timeslip by a few hundreths and a few MPH. The track timing gear gives an average over the last section of the track while the G-Tech is actual. Its garbage in garbage out if you don't set it up right though.
