I currently have them on my 96 with no issues and am running stock tire sizes. I need new tires and at the end of this month BFGoodrich (I just got off the phone with them) is realeasing the KDW2 in a 315/30/18 which will fit the Z06 Rim. I think if the Z06 rim has the same offset as a Grandsport 11x17 rim I'll be fine.
Regardless, I'll be about 10mm closer to the inner fender well. I've never heard my current tires rub, and wouldn't want any brand new tires to rub.
Get this...I decided to get the regular BFG KD's but the right rear isn't available. So I said gimmy the KDW2's and they dont have 275/40/17's or 265/40/17's, so no KDW's either. So since BFGoodrich is out, and I dont like the Khumos I have now or just want something different, I thought about Toyo. Well, they dont have anything in a matching 4 tire set, so I'm back to Goodyear Supercar tires. Most people are split on those tires and I have never had them myself. I've had alot of sets of regular F1's and always liked them, so I think I am going to go with the Supercar tires. It is just to much of a headache to find anything better at the moment.
One question though. Are the Nitto tires mostly a race tire?
Nittos are great tires. Also, I had the same problem with all the tire companies, that are reasonable (tire rack/discount tire) saying they didnt have a certain tire/ It was the left rear KD for me. SO, I went and called BFG customer service, told them what I was told at Tire Rack. They had me call Tire Rack back and have them call them (BFG)and the tires were delievered here to Hawaii 4 days later. SO, hopefully you can call and get this resolved.

Well, I have the 315 35 ZR17's in the rear. I love them, and I had SZ50's before. The Firestone SZ 50's were a 285/40/17 as they didnt have the wider tire that is on now. But, I really like the KD's, they handle very well and are very quiet, as compared to the GSC's that were originally on the car.
