Ricer tires.I have seen them on TV at ricer burnout parties and drifting events. What a waste drifting is if I want to drift I will go a little faster on my local "snakey" roads.Guess I am getting old.

Watched some of this once, couldn't quite understand the appeal of screaming weed wackers.
I think 'drifting' is pretty cool.
But I was doing it on isolated cul-de-sacs wayyyyy before these squinty eyed guys started doing it.
Vettes are GREAT for drifting 'cause you can heat up the tires readily and after that 'drift' away to your hearts (wallets) content.
Lot'sa Lot'sa fun.
You 'may' want to keep a couple extra tires for this as it eats up tires quickly.
The purpose of those tires is when you are racing and take off you make colored smokescreen to block your opponets vision. It is mainly used by ricers who want to act like they have horsepower. If you wanna do it and be original take some 2 cycle oil from a weedeater and squirt it on your tires. Blue, black, purple, w/e. Just less ricer like. And those tires dont come cheap. I believe they run around 800 per tire. Might be more. Ill look into it. P.S. They wear out alot faster than average tires due to the chemicals in the rubber. Not worth it for the colored smoke. Just my opionion
last summer did a kumho ride-n-drive and they showed us those tires, they said over $1k each and they're not for sale to the general public because of the dye used. You only see them at kumho sponsored burnout events.
