Default Flat spots on tires

I drive my 88 vert every few days and notice that after sitting a day or two, the tires develop "flat" spots. It goes away after the first first mile or two. Is this normal only after a few days sitting?

Try putting a little more air in the tires!

Do you suggest factory specs on air pressure? Comments and opinions appreciated.

And particular brands are worse about this than others.

Recommended air pressures will minimize flatspotting which should then disappear after a couple miles of driving....

I did not experience flat-spotting (FS)until I put on the last set of tires. It goes away in about 10 minutes and does not bother me....FS does no harm.
I wouldn't increase air pressure just to reduce FS: FS is temporary, reduced traction is all the time.
